Making art can be calming and restorative. At the same time, unexpected discoveries can emerge, and, quite often, a sense of fun pervades the process.

Art Therapy is about expression and the creative process. Making art helps what may be difficult to verbalize become accessible. It can reach underlying discord and resolve trauma.

There are various art materials in my office. We work with images, your experience making art, or questions and concerns that arise while in the creative process. You can make art pieces in session or on your own and bring them in.

“Research supports the use of art therapy within a professional relationship for the therapeutic benefits gained through artistic self-expression and reflection.”
~American Art Therapy Association, 2016
